Motion Focus Music is a dynamic music company specialising in music for media applications. We offer an extensive library of tracks spanning a wide variety of genres. We also create original custom compositions for film, TV and advertising. MFM is made up of and run by composers and musicians. This means we can pull the right team together from our stable of artists to give any creative project its own character and musical integrity.
The MFM library is used heavily in Australian TV and radio, featuring on nationally broadcast programs including Australian Idol, Totally Wild, Scope, Toasted TV, Puzzle Play, Totally Footy, Kick to Kick, and Totally Australia. MFM also provided the theme music for the BBC television series Outback 8. The library also features in Channel Nine and Ten promotions, on NOVA radio, and is used by a range of advertising agencies and production facilities.
Our award winning composers and producers are highly experienced industry professionals, creating custom compositions for film and TV and working with some of the best advertising directors and producers in the business. The MFM team has written scores for the Queensland Orchestra, won ARIA awards for production, Sunny awards for composition, and Australian Guild of Screen Composers Award. Our writers have also backed some of Australia’s major recording artists, touring nationally and internationally with the likes of Savage Garden, Tim Rogers and Bernard Fanning.
Scope (Network Ten) recently won the prestigious Japan Award with all music provided by MFM.
